Is there a spending limit?Updated 6 months ago
Employees
Employees may only spend an aggregate of up to £7,500 per year at all employee sample sales (being digital, physical and/or virtual sales) held during such year. For the purpose of these terms, “year” shall mean 31st August – 31st March. It is an employee’s responsibility to ensure they do not exceed this spending limit. Any employee who does exceed this limit may have unshipped orders cancelled, may be prevented from making further purchases for the remainder of this sale and any future sales, and may be subject to disciplinary action up to and including dismissal. Additionally, any spend deemed unusual will be investigated and dealt with on a case-by-case basis. Please note that this spend limit does not include shipping fees and does take into account returns specifically for Burberry Employees.
If you and/or any friends and family you invite to the sale exceed this spending limit, this may prevent you from being eligible to participate in this and/or future sales, your unshipped orders may be cancelled, your line manager will be informed and you may be subject to disciplinary action up to and including dismissal.
Spend at Burberry Employee Sales is not included in the annual employee discount spending limit. For questions regarding the Employee Discount Policy and the spending limit, please email [email protected].
Contractors
You may not spend more than £2,000 over the course of a Digital Burberry Employee Sale. It is your own responsibility to ensure that you do not exceed this spending limit. Full details and the possible consequences of non-compliance can be found in the Terms and Conditions. The spend limit does not include shipping fees and does not take into account returns. For example, you cannot spend £2500 even if you plan to return £1000 worth of items.
